The lever shock to tube shock conversion on the Green TR6 is complete. I have a picture of the installed apparatus, and you’ll see that we add a brace to augment the standard tube shock bracket.
One of the complaints we hear about tube shock conversions involves the shocks being unable to withstand fore/aft forces. To that end, we weld in a metal brace to stabilize it in that direction. Otherwise, it’s possible for the forces to pull the crossmember from the frame.
